Can we all just get over this idea that actors have an obligation to be ~grateful~ for their jobs and in the face of the media attention they receive. Celebrity in the US is so fucked up. People should be able to have a job and say “I’m going to do this job, do a reasonable amount of promotion for this job, and then the rest of the time just be a regular fucking person” without the whole “be nice” bullshit. Because telling women to be nice is an old and well used code for telling them to shut up and do what they’re told. And that’s exactly what it is when people say KStew “looks sullen” in pictures.

Plenty of actors are stone faced jackasses and they get treated like they are ~srs bsns actors~. And anyone who says it isn’t a double standard is just full of shit.
